Hello and thank you for visiting The Wounded Soldier Fundraiser website.  My name is Ed Huss, and I am in the process of organizing our fourth annual golf outing to support a wounded soldier.  Our golf outing will be held September 20th 2008 at the Bliss Creek Golf Course.  I am currently lining up speaking engagements, and was hoping that you would allow me to come and speak to your group or organization about our upcoming golf outing, and fundraiser.

Over the last three years we are proud to have supported those who have sacrificed to much of themselves.  Last year we were able to raise over $15,000 for Aurora native Victor Rojas, and this year we hope to surpass it.

We will be supporting two local Veterans this year.  Israel Del Toro from Naperville, IL and Terry Peterson from Warrenville, IL who graduated from Marmion Military Academy.

Israel Del Toro was hit by a roadside bomb, and suffered burns on 80% of his body.  His face was badly burned, and he lost most of the fingers on his left hand, and all of his right hand.

Terry Peterson was also hit by a roadside bomb.  He suffered severe injuries to his left arm and right foot.  He has had 23 surgeries already, and will require more reconstructive surgery in the future.
